The Canadian CommTech Show & Seminars made its debut in Kelowna, BC, in 2006, and in 2018 celebrates its 13th Anniversary. From 2013 to 2016, COMMTECH WEST was held in Calgary, AB and in 2017 took place in Richmond, BC, only a few minutes from the Vancouver airport.

COMMTECH EAST premiered in April 2014, in Mississauga Ontario, only 15 minutes from the Toronto International airport.

Canada’s multi-industry ICT event is all about content and value and caters to all sectors of the communications industry in Canada. Registrations include all the necessities to simplify expense accounts and make it easy on the budget. Management is grateful for the amazing support the industry has shown and the sponsors who allow us to provide so many extra benefits for all who attend.


Over 80+ indoor and outdoor suppliers and industry associations from across Canada and the United States showcase their products and services over two days. Industry professionals are easily accessible throughout the show to troubleshoot, provide ideas and recommendations to assist our attending companies grow their businesses and efficiencies.


Approx. 200 attending companies visit COMMTECH EAST annually, partaking in more than 20 seminars, workshops and live demos. Attendees come from all sectors of the ICT industry, including internet, telephone, cable and wireless service providers, sub-contractors, engineers, as well as IT professionals from government, regulatory, municipal, utility and various related industries.


We welcome Education Professionals who train today’s youth for tomorrow’s communications needs by providing complimentary entrance to industry-related Students.

The 2017 Golf Tournament donated funds to DAMS (Downtown Auxiliary Mobile Services), Inner City Women’s Initiative Society’s (Vancouver) primary program. This organization serves women marginalized by trauma, drug use, colonization, oppression, gender bias, and/or spiritual/physical/mental health issues.

Together with Transglobal Systems of Canada, CommTech will provide a bursary to a local post-secondary ICT student in British Columbia and Ontario. 

CommTech has also donated to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), Cops For Kids in British Columbia and bursaries for the Kelowna Institute of Technology. Additional donations support the SCTE Ontario Chapter, Crohn’s & Colitis Canada, the Arthritis Society and Niagara Hospital Activity Book for Children who partners with Make a Wish Canada.
